Become Steward of St. George Parish

Stewardship Ministry
Stewardship begins with the realization that everything we have is on loan to us from God.
God has entrusted our Holy Orthodox Churches, our lives, our families, friends, wealth, and possessions, to us for a short time. As stewards, we must care for and use these gifts wisely, for each time we care for our Church, our family, and those in need, God is glorified.
Jesus said that the world would know us, the Christians, by our love. He asks us to allow this Love to be the motivating force in our lives, to guide our every action and decision. He tells us clearly, “You must Love the Lord your God, with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your strength and with all your mind and your neighbor as yourself.” (Luke 10:27-27) Do this, He says, and eternal life will be yours.
To be a steward of Christ, one must become His disciple and also display this discipleship through love. This love can be exhibited by our giving of TIME, TALENT and TREASURE. Through this giving we praise God while seeking to do His will; we actively participate in ministries while lovingly sharing our treasures.
